Cut with Plasma
The oxyfuel or plasma cutting is the process of separating metals using heat and violent oxidation with pure oxygen. The basic construction of the process is to apply a flame heating the metal until it reaches its flash point. At this time applies a pure oxygen jet in this area causing the formation of liquid metal oxides. This reaction is highly exothermic, generating heat that will sustain the process itself in the sequence. The mechanical speed of the jet of pure oxygen promotes the removal of the liquid metal thereby separating the metal base in two parts.
